Campuses
The National Centre for Dairy Education Australia operates as a national network through collaborative partnership agreements with industry-endorsed training providers. It directly provides delivery in most parts of Victoria.
Farming
Agreements with partner providers are being established in each State:
Victoria
The NCDEA operates from centres in Dookie, Warragul and Terang and is in discussion with Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT), the Gordon Institute of TAFE and East Gippsland TAFE.
Tasmania and South Australia
The NCDEA has signed agreements with TAFE Tasmania and TAFE South Australia for delivery in their respective States.
NSW
In NSW, discussions are well advanced with TAFE NSW and TOCAL College.
Queensland and Western Australia
In Queensland and Western Australia, discussions with potential partners will be concluded during 2008.
Dairy processing
The NCDEA dairy processing courses are currently delivered primarily at the Werribee Campus and on factory sites across Australia. The facilities at Werribee include a purpose-designed pilot factory and equipment to demonstrate the principles and operation of the common dairy food manufacturing processes.
