Duration & Delivery

This course id delivered over the maximum of 400 hours and is aimed at students gaining work in the Automotive trade

Assessment

Participants are assessed via completion of required tasks and a demonstration of skills, eg. Written and verbal assignments, practical work, classroom participation, projects and/or written tests.

Practical Placement

Work placement employment may be undertaken to get trade experience but is not essential.

Qualification

The Certificate II in Automotive Studies (Pre-vocational) is a Victorian recognised qualification.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is an evidence gathering assessment process where an individual's skills and knowledge in a specific vocational area are assessed against a unit or units of a nationally accredited training package, thus enabling them to gain part or all of a formal qualification.
