Young dairy trainer acknowledged for activities National Centre for Dairy Education Australia industry trainer, Heidi Knowles was announced runner up in the Victorian Agricultural Shows Rural Ambassador Awards recently.. Victoria's best dairy apprentices complete study tour Four NCDEA Victorian dairy apprentices have just completed the UDV/Gardiner Foundation Apprentice Tour to New Zealand 2009, describing the opportunity to compare and contrast New Zealand and Australian dairy farming as a big learning experience. Women taking the lead in the Goulburn Valley A series of workshops for women to develop their communication and leadership skills will be held on 14 & 15 October and 10 & 11 November by GOTAFE, the NCDEA, Murray Dairy, Fruitgrowers Victoria and GV Women in Horticulture. Dairy Youth Camp applications now open The 2010 National All Dairy Breeds Youth Camp applications are now open to young people developing their interest in the dairy industry.. AI and CoCo courses The NCDEA conducts these two programs in partnership with industry organisations. The AI course is run with the National Herd Improvement Association of Australia Inc. and the COCO course with Countdown Downunder.
