Tassie tour provides insight for young people
The 2009 Don Campbell Memorial Tour to Tasmania provided a group of 14 young people associated with the dairy industry with the opportunity to see production systems and ideas that differ from their own.

The Victorian Government's Securing Jobs for your Future: Skills Victoria reforms were announced in August 2008. Some changes to the TAFE sector are significant. Existing students, and those intending to enrol at GOTAFE, are encouraged to make themselves familiar with these changes prior to their implementation on 1st July 2009.

AI and COCO courses
The NCDEA conducts these two programs in partnership with industry organisations. The AI course is run with the National Herd Improvement Association of Australia Inc. and the COCO course with Countdown Downunder.
Yoghurt and Probiotic Products
Learn the fundamentals of fermented (cultured) mild products manufacture, theory and practice. Basic concepts in microbiology and chemistry underlying the production of fermented milks will be practically demonstrated.
