Diploma of Food Science
& Technology 
The NCDEA is now taking enrolments for the 2009 Diploma of Food Science and Technology program but there are limited places remaining for 2009. There is also an opportunity to commence some study in 2008 for the 2009 program. If you enrol now it will be at the 2008 rates and there are some increases for any students enrolling in 2009.
This is 2.5 year part-time course offers industry and students improved expertise and product specific operational skills; enhanced performance improvement capability in the industry in the workplace; workplace competence in process operations; and improved educational delivery.
The program is structured to achieve a depth of knowledge in dairy science and technology that will lead to demonstrating performance improvement outcomes in factory sites and sponsoring companies. The program structure builds on a science and technology basis, followed by specific studies.

Skills Recognition
The Diploma program will focus on accelerating student progress through effective delivery as well as recognising the student's capabilities through Skills Recognition. Each applicant will be offered a review of their skills, knowledge and prior studies to enable advanced standing in the program where appropriate.
