PROFILE - Carole Willman

Carole Willman is an experienced cheese educator, and has been involved in the dairy industry since 1971. She specialises in home cheesemaking and has conducted over 800 workshops in hundreds of venues throughout Australia and New Zealand, teaching over 10,000 people to make their own cheese at home. She began her own company in 1986, and now Cheeselinks supplies cheesemaking ingredients and equipment worldwide.
Carole has been involved in commercial cheesemaking courses through NCDEA since its inception in 2006, and has officiated in cheese judging and stewarding at cheese competitions throughout Australia. Carole has participated in several study trips to Europe, visiting cheese factories and educational facilities in Italy, France, Switzerland and the UK. As the co-author of Home Cheesemaking: the secrets of how to make your own cheese and other dairy products, Carole is one of Australias most highly regarded cheesemakers.
